Dyspareunia

Writer: Kuchando Bintu

Did you ever think of painful sexual intercourse as a medical condition?
Dyspareunia is a medical condition which explains painful sex among women.

Most people are of the view of that sex is painful when the walls of the female vagina is tight, which is not totally true.

Little pain during sex especially with a first-timer can be considered normal but excess pains during sex turns out to be a medical condition.

Dyspareunia can be caused during breastfeeding, yeast infections, childbirth or insufficient or no lubricant around the opening of the female vagina and genital before and during sex.

During breastfeeding or after childbirth, mothers are advised to abstain from sex for sometime to avoid such complications.

Females having yeast infections are also advised to see the doctor for proper medical attention not only to prevent dyspareunia, but also to prevent infecting their partners.

Aside the above, it is very important that the female gets very wet before and during sex. Less lubricant around the female genital is mostly as a result of less arousal for sex, therefore the need for enough foreplay before sex.

There are also situations where the female gets wet enough for sex but dries up during the sexual  process. In situations like this, external lubricants can be used.

Study has proven that dyspareunia is very common among women with history of sexual abuse. Matters like this are very delicate and needs an intensive medical attention. Therapy is also very useful.

NOTE
For external lubricants; some people choose  sliver as an option which is not advisable because if the person whose sliver is used has ...
1. Sore mouth, can cause Human Papilo Virus (HPV), Syphilis, Chalmydia, Gonorrhea etc.
2. Bad breath can result to bad vagina discharge.
3. And sliver is not very slippery so can cause tear.

Rather, use lubricants from registered pharmacy or preferably hospital or clinic.
Vagina lubricants come in different texture, flavor and materials.

jumping the broom

Marriage practices vary from country to country owing to geography, culture, and belief systems. Whereas the origin stories for some ceremonies can still be clearly remembered, those for others are vague and all but gone.                       atlantablackstar.com Black African slaves from the trans-Atlantic slave trade developed the practise of jumping the broom in the 18th century. Since their lords forbade them from getting married in a formal ceremony, slaves who fell in love with one another would jump over a broom after exchanging vows to their partners, so legally binding their union. According to some historical accounts that contest the validity of the aforementioned rationale, slaves engaged in the "jump the broom" culture because their owners forced them to wed in such a way as to serve as a constant reminder of their obligations. This culture's origins are contradictory. Some claim that it came from Britain, ...

GOOD JOURNALISM.

Story by: Kuchando Bintu         In contemporary times, journalism has become one of the most important parts of human life and survival. Journalism seen as the fourth arm of government has its primary responsibility to the society and its inhabitants making it almost very impossible to live without the services of journalists. Interestingly, the advent of sophisticated machines and advanced technology has made it even easier to carry out the activities of journalism but the question is “do journalists carry out their duties in the right manner? If they are, in what manner makes it appropriate then?” “Good” as a word means approved of, high standard, satisfying or right. Journalism on the other hand according to Ahuja 2011, is the activity of gathering, assessing, creating, and presenting news and information. Hence, the term good journalism can be defined as the approved form of gathering, assessing, creating, and presenting news a...
