Dyspareunia is a medical condition which explains painful sex among women.  Most people are of the view of that sex is painful when the walls of the female vagina is tight, which is not totally true.  Little pain during sex especially with a first-timer can be considered normal but excess pains during sex turns out to be a medical condition. Dyspareunia can be caused during breastfeeding, yeast infections, childbirth or insufficient or no lubricant around the opening of the female vagina and genital before and during sex.
